Vintage Feature – Three Reasons Why You Should Serve Your Specialty Drink in Something Special!

Pipers Photography

A popular party trend is to offer guests a speciality drink, oftentimes a drink loved by the host, guest of honor, or bride and groom. Whether it’s a non-acoholic refreshing beverage or a spirited one, these can reflect the personality of the host or guests and even the color palette of the occasion!

What can make this drink even more special? Serving it up in a beautiful vintage goblet, of course! Not totally convinced? Then let us convince you with these three reasons why you should.

First, consider the frozen speciality drink. Offering that frozen margarita or sangria in a petite clear goblet means that your guests will enjoy the delightful frozenness before it melts. Another upside is more guests can be served at once. The only hitch is that some will be back in line for more so keep that blender humming! 🙂

Secondly, to add to the festiveness of the party, the drink color will shine! With our classic clear vintage champagne glasses and petite goblets, that gorgeous blue, pink, or yellow will mesmerize your guests as they enjoy your delicious beverage. We promise that they will ooh-and-ahhh over their sweetness!

Thirdly, if you plan to serve up a large crowd, go classic with our beautiful vintage punch bowls. In addition to 3 clear and 2 milk glass bowls, we also have a wonderful collection of vintage punch cups that will coordinate nicely, but if these don’t suit your affair, consider those petite goblets instead!

Spirited or not, your speciality drink deserves a special goblet or glass. In addition to the lovely clear petite goblets, we have petite goblets in a variety of colors. (There’s no photo of these colored ones, but we’ll add it to this post soon.)

As you see, we have lots to offer and are ready to help you serve up your speciality drinks at your next occasion!

Southern Vintage Table Event – Beauteous Butterfly Styled Shoot at the Museum of Life & Science

Hillary of Sincerely Weddings Event Planning had a vision – she wanted to assemble a group of talented vendors for a styled shoot at the Butterfly House at the Museum of Life and Science. This nontraditional venue is ideal for couples who love science and nature, and want a memorable wedding experience for themselves and their guests. As you will see from the marvelous images captured by September Photos , a wedding here can be pretty spectacular!

To prepare for the styled shoot, Hillary came to our studio and selected the vintage tableware for the reception. The vintage blue and white dinnerware with vintage amber goblets always make a statement and her design was impeccable! The bride’s bouquet, styled by Sweets and Stems, as well as the floral touch on the gorgeous cake by Rachel Bailey Cake Artist, incorporated the blue, white, and amber theme. Even the speciality drink served by Barbox carried this theme so deliciously!

Thank you, Hillary, for gathering us together for this stunning styled shoot! We all loved the final results and so did the butterflies!

Southern Vintage Table Event – Styled Shoots with Taylor’d Southern Events

Earlier this spring we received the most interesting invitation to join a group of local vendors for a photo shoot at The Parlour at Mann’s Chapel. The intriguing part was that the owner of Taylor’d Southern Events was flying in from LA and her associate was driving up from Florida because they loved the charm of The Parlour. In addition, a group of photographers would be taking photos that would be shared with all the vendors. What a wonderful opportunity for us!

So Lauren and Taylor met at our studio and selected the table settings as well as the details that complemented their design. We loved helping them find their inspiration pieces and couldn’t wait to see the photos. They are starting to come in and today’s photographer is Casie Weather’s Photography. We love them!

More coming soon! We also participated in a shoot two days later with Taylor’d Southern Events at the McAlister-Leftwich House in Greensboro. These should be on their way, too!

Vintage News – Move Update and This Week’s Events

Quick update on our move – we are fully in our new space at 222E Orange Grove Street, Hillsborough! The reason why we haven’t shared the full tour is that we have a short task list to complete in between meeting with clients and preparing for events. We hope you love what you see as much as we do! More to come soon.

Now for our busy week ahead – 3 weddings and a tea party! Our four clients all love vintage and each has chosen their own unique look. Here’s what is headed out our studio this weekend.

Our first wedding is at White Lake. Our bride adores pink and has asked that each of the 325 dinner plates feature this romantic color. Yep, we’ll be heading east Friday with 16 filled crates of beautiful vintage plates with pink!

Angus Barn is the venue for the second wedding. Our bride wanted to pick up the blue and white decor in her centerpieces at each guest’s place setting. These vintage blue and white bread plates should be the perfect complement!

Wedding number three will be at Sassafras Fork Farm in Rougemont. To harmonize with this outdoor rustic space, our bride selected our white vintage stoneware and clear goblets. The crisp white will look fabulous against this natural setting.

Our final event is a vintage tea party. Our client chose our Tea Party Package for 24 and we couldn’t be more pleased. The favorite part for us is selecting our favorite teacups – not an easy task since we love so many!

As always, thanks for checking in with us! In between selecting, washing, packing, and delivering, we’ll be working on that to-do list. Have a glorious week!

Southern Vintage Table Event – Rolesville’s Chamber Goes Mardi Gras!

Southern Vintage Table Vintage China Rental NC

What occurs every March, brings folks from the community together, and is always delightful? Yep, you are correct! It’s the annual Rolesville’s Chamber of Commerce Awards and Recognition Dinner!

We love helping with this grand affair for so many reasons. One reason is these business leaders are incredibly gracious and, second, they really enjoy creating a fun, unique celebration for their members. This year’s theme, Mardi Gras, cleverly fit their mantra for the year, “Unmasking the Power of Community.” How cool is that?

The table design was created by members of the chamber, led by Executive Director Rachel Morris, and we happily helped them execute their flawless plan. The final result was colorful, fun, and inviting – a wonderful fit for the exceptional leaders of the Rolesville community!

Thank you, Rolesville COC, for inviting us again to help with this festive affair! It’s always a pleasure!

Vintage Feature – Two Weeks In, Two Weeks to Go

This week we’ve been emptying shelves, disassembling shelves, moving shelves, re-assembling shelves, and finally, filling shelves. (Thank you, Priscilla!) We love these shelves because they are heavy-duty and easily to re-configure, but they also are very heavy and sometimes difficult to assemble. But, with the help of Aud and Sean, they are in and ready for their vintage inventory!

Looking forward to filling these shelves and sharing our progress next week!

Vintage Feature – The Move Is On!

We have one month to do it and we are totally excited – we are moving! The big reveal will be next month but, in the meantime, we are relocating all of this . . .

. . . to this space! Instead of one open room, the new studio will have three rooms to design and fill.

Thank goodness we have kind friends and family who will be helping us because there’s a lot of vintage coolness to pack up! One thing is certain – It’s going to be amazing when we are finished!

Southern Vintage Table Events – Luncheons & Dinner Parties, Vintage Style!

Today’s post was inspired by this beautiful photo, shared by a client who hosted a sparkling wine tasting party this week for her wine club. Falling close to Valentine’s Day, she chose a palette of pinks and reds and the final result is stunning! Her 11 guests loved her tables and, of course, thoroughly enjoyed the evening, tasting 10 varieties of Champagnes and sparkling wines. Who wouldn’t, right?

Hosting a luncheon, casual get-together, or dinner party is a wonderful way to entertain your friends, co-workers, and family. Whether it’s at your home, in the office meeting room, or at an event space, we can help you design a memorable experience for the special folks in your life. Need a little inspiration? Here are a few photos from past luncheons and dinners we have had the pleasure to help coordinate.

Southern Vintage Table Events – Meredith & Jessie’s Vintage Wedding at Forest Hall

Forest Hall at Chatham Mills was the setting for Meredith and Jessie’s wondrous wedding nuptials. As shown in this gorgeous photo gallery by the talented Morgan Caddell, this celebration was chic, vibrant, and oh-so romantic!

We first met Meredith and Jessie at an open house held at an incredible historic venue in Pittsboro, Forest Hall at Chatham Mills. They wanted lots of color, bold patterns, and charm for their guests’ tables and we knew our inventory would be a terrific fit. After a first visit at the studio, we set the date and agreed to meet closer to the wedding date so they could personally select their items.

With a cadre of support from sister Claire and mother Pam, Meredith and Jessie arrived the week before the wedding. Together we organized the dish racks by table with a mix of bold vintage patterned dinner plates and coordinating goblets were packed in crates. For the dessert table, a collection of tea cups in blue & white, red & white, and floral patterns were chosen. Vintage dessert plates, napkins, flatware, and decanters for water completed their order.

We love the variety of vintage place settings Meredith and Jessie selected and Morgan photographed!

With sincerest gratitude, we are so honored to have played a part in this happy occasion. Cheers to you, Meredith and Jessie! Sending you best wishes for a joyful, loving, and fun life together!

I can’t express how happy I am that we rented our tableware from Southern Vintage Table!!! The mismatched china, colored glasses, decanters, etc. really elevated the over all feel of our wedding and was a perfect representation of our eclectic personalities. Shelly was such a pleasure to work with and really made us feel confident in our choices! Photos courtesy of Morgan Caddell Photography.
