Southern Vintage Table Event – Katie & Evan’s Wedding, Part 3

We have been treated to a wonderful gift – more beautiful photos from Katie and Evan’s wedding. Several weeks ago we fell in love with the preview photos and our admiration for the photographic talents of Natalie E. Photography is confirmed! These are amazing!

We saw the dessert station for the first time in the full set of photos and what a gorgeous setup! The cake is incredible and there are our sweet vintage dessert plates, all stacked up ready to serve guests.

We can’t say it enough – thank you, Katie, Evan, and Renee for your trust in Southern Vintage Table!

Southern Vintage Table Event – Elegant Sweets & Treats

Today we are super delighted to share photos of this dessert table, filled with treats, sweets, and Erica and Josh’s beautiful wedding cake! These photos, courtesy of Justyn Lord Photography, are terrific and give us an opportunity to see how lovely our vintage wares create such a charming display.

Southern Vintage Table Event – A Vintage Bridal Shower

We truly enjoy meeting our clients. and oftentimes, there’s an authentic, instant connection. When Susan and Lindsay came to the studio last fall to plan for Lindsay’s wedding reception this June, we just clicked! This immediate rapport helped make our planning meeting both enjoyable and productive.

Several months back, Susan and I met again to plan Lindsay’s bridal shower table settings – an elegant palette with soft, spring colors of teal, yellow, purple, and pink. Hosted at Susan’s home, the guests were treated to colorful vintage place settings and a delicious meal to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of Lindsay and Brad.

Thank you, Susan, for sharing your photos with us. Your meticulously set tables are sheer perfection! Looking forward to Lindsay and Brad’s wedding in a few weeks!

Southern Vintage Table Event – Sneak Peak of Katie & Evan’s Wedding

Southern Vintage Table Event – A Bridal Shower, Wedding Reception, & Tea Party

After a two-weddings’ weekend, this weekend’s events were a little-bit-of-this and a little-bit-of-that – a bridal shower, a wedding reception, and a tea party! As you might guess, it was busy, busy in the studio – washing the dishes from last weekend and then preparing for the three events and their pickups. Thankfully, Priscilla came over and helped get things organized and ready.

The stainless vintage flatware seen above was for Emma and Jonathan’s wedding reception. Don’t you love the variety and details? These went with our blue and white china, light blue goblets and a few milk glass accents. Looking forward to seeing these photos!

The second event was a dinner party/bridal shower. Susan chose our vintage elegant china dinner plates eclectically matched with salad plates, a mix of teal, amber, and pink goblets, and vintage silver-plate flatware. With an Italian feast on the menu, the guests are being treated to a grand party!

The third event is happening today – a mother-daughter tea party for almost 200 guests at the Mims House. With our vintage teapots, teacups, and tiered stands, this fundraiser affair is sure to be a crowd pleaser. The proceeds are going to help a group of talented dancers from the Holly Springs Ballet School participate in the Macy’s Christmas Parade. We hope they get closer to their goal after this weekend!

Southern Vintage Table Event – Rolesville Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner

Last Thursday evening at The Mill Room at the Factory in Wake Forest a group of business leaders from the Rolesville Chamber of Commerce gathered together for their annual awards dinner. It was a busy, fun evening for everyone – silent raffles, music by the Rolesville High Orchestra, speeches, awards, recognition of the members of the Youth Leadership, and, of course, a delicious meal provided by Cannon Catering.

We were so excited to provide our vintage guest place settings for this fun affair and thrilled to collaborate with Flower Creations Rolesville. Heather filled our vintage silver-plate teapots, creamers, and petite vases to create a beautiful arrangements for the guest tables.

Thank you, Rolesville’s Chamber of Commerce, for inviting us to help with your annual celebration! We are honored to work with such an incredible group of community leaders!

Vintage Feature – Jenn & Teague’s Wedding is on Chic Vintage Brides!

We received some most exciting news this week from Erica of Folie à Deux Events! Jenn & Teague’s wedding has been featured on Chic Vintage Brides!

Our part in their wedding was to provide tea accessories for the afternoon tea. Here’s how Jenn and Teague described their reception.

“We chose to do the reception in a British afternoon tea style, as we love having afternoon tea and wanted to share it with our family and friends! Jenn used to live in the UK when she studied modern and medieval Welsh (Celtic) literature and language at Bangor University in North Wales. Because of Jenn’s love of Celtic history (she’s a redhead after all!), we also integrated little touches of Welsh, Irish, and Scottish traditions into our wedding day and décor.

For the afternoon tea dishes and cutlery, we were very lucky to have Southern Vintage Table in the Chapel Hill area. Shelly, the owner, provided us with a gorgeous array of blue-and-white plates and porcelain tea sets, silver-plated cutlery, and other key serviceware items we needed for our afternoon tea reception. She even helped with dressing the tables and wow, the end result was more stunning than I imagined!”

Okay, we are beaming after reading this!

Southern Vintage Table Event – A Lakeside Anniversary Shoot

We are soooo happy to share these romantic photos, taken by Jackson Signature Photography at the Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville, NC. Recently published in the Carolinas Magazine, the images portray a fairy-tale lakeside anniversary picnic.

Our contribution included the vintage picnic basket, lace runner, teapot, and teacups for two. As we are only sharing photos of our wares, be sure to visit the photo essay. You won’t be disappointed!
