Ambers, burnt orange, browns, gold, creams and white – soft, organic, fall hues – were beautifully woven together to create this lovely boho vision for Allyson and Bryce’s fall wedding. The setting was The Parlour at Mann’s Chapel and these artful images come to you via the talented Long Yau. The end result was serene, enchanting, and so very romantic!
Allyson, the stunning bride and designer of this vision, created the dried floral bouquets and provided the runners, chargers, and flatware. For their guest tables, we brought our vintage white stoneware, amber goblets, votives, and brass candleholders. They also chose our vintage mixed and matched cream napkins with vintage brass napkins rings. Beautiful!
Their boho dessert table design included our vintage tiered stands, platters, and white and gold dessert plates. Those donuts look especially elegant and delicious!
Heartfelt congratulations, Allyson and Bryce! Thank you for the honor of providing our vintage tableware for your wedding day. You two are amazing partners and we are so happy for you!

Wonder why so many couples wish to get married in the fall? The tribe of loved ones under this glorious tree in early November reveals one reason – nature’s beautiful fall colors provide an amazing backdrop for this very special day!
The site of this sweet wedding was Highrock Farms in Oxford, NC. This was our first visit to this farm venue and we were captivated by the open fields, historic barns, and the rustic, homey reception hall. Being our first visit to this lovely place, we archived these photos of the front gate and reception building for this blog post. The awesome opening photo of the bridal party and reception photos are courtesy of Holly Kearney Photography.
Caroline adores vintage as much as we do and she envisioned her reception tables with a lovely mix of vintage china patterns, vintage colored goblets, and vintage flatware. We distinctly remember the day she and her mother visited the studio. When the final design came together, Caroline radiated pure joy. We all knew this was going to be a magical day for everyone.
These two photos were shared with us by Caroline’s mother, Jennifer, on the day of the wedding. She knew wewould be excited to see them after the tables were set!
Bravo, Caroline and Van! Your wedding day beautifully reflected your exuberance, happiness, and love. We were truly honored to help with this happy occasion. Best wishes to you and your family!
This fall we traveled to several venues for the first time and one of them was The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve in Raleigh. We distinctly recall how we felt that day – it was such a glorious, peaceful day we paused for several moments to absorb the beauty that surrounded us. What a wonderful place for Jeri-lynn an Paul to get married!
Jeri-lynn and Anessa, owner of Harmony Weddingsand Events, visited our studio months before the wedding day. Using vintage was important to Jeri-lynn and together they chose vintage place settings and an array of brass candleholders, bar glasses, and dessert serving pieces.
When these photos by Joanna Sue Photography came in, we were elated. The tables with vintage white/cream plates trimmed in gold, the vintage gold flatware, and vintage amber goblets perfectly suited this pastoral environment. One of our favorite details is the different colored and textured candles on our vintage brass candleholders.
The bar was stocked with vintage textured tumblers (once filled with jelly), vintage low compotes, and vintage clear goblets. Don’t they look cool?
Finally, the ingenious display of desserts on an assortment of vintage pieces was fabulous! Our vintage stands, boxes, and dessert plates were selected by Jeri-lynn – so terrific and eclectic!
Congratulations, Jeri-lynn and Paul! The beginning of this new phase of your lives has been quite marvelous!
We absolutely adore our vintage-loving clients! And, when they share their cherished photos with us, we are over-the-moon with appreciation! Our mailbox has been overflowing with images from the fall season and with so many choices, our wonderful dilemma was selecting which one to feature today. Our solution was simple – share a photo from each one! We are still waiting for a few more galleries but, in the meantime, here is a glimpse of four fall weddings.

What was the most popular rental? Our vintage colored goblets! One wedding rented a mix of light blue and light green, one was all about amber, and the other two went for a colorful array. Our vintage dinner plates were also quite popular and three of the weddings chose three different collections – white/cream with a gold rim, bold retro, and a mix of blue/white and florals.
We can’t resist sharing one more photo from each! Come back to see future blogs featuring more of these lovely vintage weddings.

Oh my goodness! When these photos were shared with us, we were awestruck! The vibrant colors, lush florals, and vintage place settings created a very beautiful and personalized backdrop for this couple’s wedding day at The Barn at Vahalla.
Kacie and Eric’s wedding day was postponed several times but on this lovely day in late August, the planets were all aligned for this sweet couple to become wife and husband. Their design was very much a mission of love. Kacie and Eric came to our studio twice to finalize their look and a week before the wedding, Kacie spent an afternoon choosing each place setting for their guests. The final result? Perfection!
We are so happy for you two! Your day was romantic, magical, and perfectly you. Best wishes!!
New mom or bride – celebrating these life-changing events with the important women in our lives is a beloved time-honored tradition. Showering the new mom or bride with attention and gifts while serving yummy refreshments is why we love these parties.
Hosting a shower tea party is so much fun! With the pretty vintage teacups, teapots, and serving pieces, the shower is instantly elegant. Today’s photos come courtesy of two clients who would agree!
The first event was a tea party baby shower, held in New Bern at the new mom’s home. This buffet table is gorgeous and the array of teacups is so pretty!
Christine honored her daughter with a bridal shower, held in Winston Salem at her home. Note that tables were set with the vintage tea place settings The romantic touches with the tea place settings beautifully suit this sweet occasion.
Thanks for sharing these photos with us, Lynn and Christine. Baby or bride, a tea party shower is a wonderful way to celebrate these beautiful moments. (BTW, both clients picked up and returned the rentals from our studio. This option is also available to you.)
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving this year! After eating a not-so-good takeout dinner last year, we enjoyed all of the Thanksgiving traditional dishes with one side of the family and, on Friday, we enjoyed a cookout with the other. Everything was home-cooked delicious and hanging with kinfolk felt so good.
This weekend is the first free weekend Southern Vintage Table has had since mid August. We are absolutely grateful and appreciative for all of our clients and vendor friends, but we are feeling a bit lazy today. Looking forward to sharing more photo galleries of fall weddings with ya’ll!
Today you will be treated to RaShawnda and Collin’s beautiful Boho wedding held this past month at Bakery 105 in Wilmington. Courtesy of Grayden Knoll‘s photos, we were awed by everything, from the arch to the brick walls, and especially by this gorgeous couple.
We met RaShawnda when she came to the studio with her talented planner, Hayley of An Event to Remember. Together they designed the centerpieces and sweetheart table using our vintage decor. They chose vintage books, wooden and brass candleholders, wood slices, amber and green peg votives, and amber goblets for the sweetheart table. An assortment of our framed mirrors and blackboards were also needed to greet guests
Now, take a look and be sure to scroll all the way down – we saved the best for last!
